Points to note for passport & visa photos:
- No glasses
- No smiling
- Lips must touch so no teeth are visible
- No hair protruding into the eye sockets
- No visible hair bands or head wear unless for medical or religious reasons
- It’s recommended to wear darker clothing when having your picture taken. This is to help the online automated system assess your photo.
UK passport and driving licence photos should be on a light grey background.
Indian,US and Chinese visa photos should be on a white background

Passport codes now available (codes sent via email) with 6 hard copies £15.00.
Irish passport photos tested and jpg image emailed to you for upload £15.00.
Babies and children no extra charge!
Specialist Visa digital photos from £18.00 (For example, India, US, Canada, Japan and China or any other country where the image size is different to conventional UK size, 35mm x 45mm, or other specific requirements).
Please note Visa photos can take up to 2 hours to produce.
We can not guarantee that it will be possible to print ‘do it yourself’ photos due to specific printing requirements or that they will be accepted due to the fact they have not been taken by our photographer. We recommend coming in store to have your picture taken. In the unlikely event that a photo taken in store is rejected, we will re-take the photo free of charge.
